Resident Waterbirds at WWT Slimbridge....27/01/2011
It was good to see the Eiders and Goosanders at close quarters. The Eiders appear to be breeding well here, I remember on my last visit to Slimbridge that there were good numbers of juveniles.
A super series of shots of the resident wildfowl at Slimbridge Pam......it's nice to get such close up views occasionally isn't it....I particulary like the Bahama Pintail pair,the Mergansers with Goldeneye and of course the Eiders!

ReplyDeleteI know Eiders are your favourite Duck so thought you may like the pics of them Ruth! I am rather taken with the American Wigeon...snazzy colours.lol!!
