A morning of '1sts of the year'!
First Comma Butterfly, Bee-fly, Lesser Celandine and Bluebell. Each one a pleasure to see in the sunshine! Common Buzzard, Blackbird, Robin, Blue & Great Tits seen and heard and a Chiffchaff singing it's name! Not an abundance of sightings but still an enjoyable walk!
Spring has sprung at last!
Spot the Bee-fly! A good camouflage.
All lovely sights and sounds aren't they!
ReplyDeleteSuper images of a Bee-fly too, I had my first one in the garden on the 28th March .....to add to your "morning of firsts"!
They are "all lovely sights and sounds" Ruth! This morning after putting out ground feed my garden was awash with "lovely sights and sounds". After a cold weekend I reckon the birds were ready for a feast! Crows, Blue & Great Tits, Dunnocks, Blackbirds, Robins, Jackdaws, Woodpigeons, Magpies and Bullfinch all gave delightful views for a good 30 minutes in my garden. We do not have to travel far sometimes do we to enjoy 'Nature'
DeleteThank you for your kind comments and a'first' addition. :-)
