There's always one!

I cut back the Lavender flowers in August and somehow I missed this stem! As you can see this Bee was not going to miss an opportunity in it's quest for nectar!


 
After a short while it made it's way down the stem



                                 and landed unceremoniously in the lavender plant.
 
Oops - a - daisy (or should I say lavender);-)

    1. Indeed Si! Fortunately there were at the time plenty of flowers on the buddleias.

  2. lol, I often find one missed stem.....usually after I've put everything away, taken my gardening shoes off, washed and am sat with a cup of coffee!!

    1. I have to be honest and say I had not noticed the odd stem left until I spotted the bee on the top of it!
      At least I am not on my own with missing the odd stem here and there.lol
